Attendee Registration

PRE-REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 11:59pm PST on Saturday, September 17

All US mail-in registrations must be postmarked by September 17.

International mail-in registrations must be postmarked by September 10.

Mail-in registrations from US-based attendees must be postmarked by the above date. We recommend that international attendees mail their registrations by the first week of September AT THE LATEST to make sure their forms arrive in time.

When registering, PLEASE make an additional donation so that we can keep FurFright alive! We're a non-profit convention that relies solely on furs' support and generosity to survive. Every penny that comes in helps improve your con, so please lend a paw. Any/all help is grrrreatly appreciated.

All pre-registrations (whether mailing in your registration payment or paying through paypal) MUST be processed through this form.

FurFright Attendance Cap

FurFright can only host 1500 attendees, so we STRONGLY urge you to pre-register to assure admission to the convention!

In order to preserve the character of the convention, continue to serve our attendees on a personal level, avoid long waits at registration and elevators, and honor the wishes of our attendees who value FurFright's size and atmosphere, we will only host a maximum of 1500 attendees. Once that number is reached, in pre-reg and/or at-the-door, no more badges will be issued.

Please DO NOT PANIC! Only a fraction of our attendees pre-reg, so there's PLENTY of time and space to register! If you pre-reg between now and September 17th (the pre-reg deadline) you'll have no problem getting in. Obviously the sooner you register the better. If we get close to the limit before pre-reg closes in September (which is doubtful), we'll inform you through the furfright.org website and communities. If we don't reach 1500 in pre-con registrations, you will still be able to register at the convention (we'll issue badges until the maximum number of attendees is reached).

So remember, pre-register soon (before the limit is reached) and you're guaranteed to get in. Please don't wait until the last minute and count on registering at the door.

Thursday 8pm - 10pm (pre-reg only)

Friday 8:30am - 9am (pre-reg only), 9am - 7pm

Saturday 10am - 5pm

Sunday 10am - 2pm (pre-reg for next year's event also available)

Identification Requirements for All Attendees

By attending FurFright, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following:

I understand that if I do not bring a VALID PHOTO I.D. to FurFright I will be denied admission, and that, per order of the law, only the following forms of ID are considered valid:

  1. A current US- or Foreign-issued driver's license
  2. A current State-issued ID (an ID offered to those who do not have a driver's license)
  3. A current Government or Military ID
  4. A current Passport

I understand that student I.D.'s, pay stubs, and flimsy excuses are NOT accepted at this convention. I understand that if I try to register with a letter from my mom or other unacceptable means, I will be denied admission. I understand that it is a waste of time to give the FurFright staff a hard time for my poor lack of planning in not acquiring a valid form of ID; I realize that this policy is required by law and not subject to staff discretion.

If you have a question about your id, please contact the Registration Director. Do not leave your questions to chance and hope your id is the correct one only to be turned away at the Registration desk.

FurFright will not be allowing anyone without a valid ID as listed above to attend the convention.

Refunds

Full refunds (or credit for the next year's convention) will be given if the request is received on or before September 17. Half refunds (or half credit) will be issued on requests received on or before September 24. No refunds or credits will be issued after September 24.

Rules for Minors

If you are under the age of 18 as of the start of the convention, we require that you bring a signed and notarized Parental Consent Form with you when you come to the registration desk. If you pre-register, you can mail this form in as long as you send it before the pre-registration deadline. "Notarization" means the consent form has been signed in front of a Notary Public who merely verifies the identity of the person signing the form (your parent or guardian).

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (who is registered for the convention) at all times. All minors must present a signed, notarized, and stamped copy of the FurFright Parental Consent form at the registration desk at FurFright. If the minor's parent or legal guardian is present at the registration desk, a non-notarized copy of the Parental Consent form may be used. However, the parent or legal guardian must present a valid copy of their legal identification -- passport, driver's license, state-issued photo ID (official ID issued instead of a driver's license), or military ID -- to the staff. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

If you are turning 18 during the convention, you are still required to bring your notarized Parental Consent form. However, on the morning of your birthdate, report to the Registration desk and receive a new label for your badge so you are no longer listed as a Minor.

Late Arrivals

If you'll be arriving late (after Registration closes) and still want to attend the evening's events, you MUST Pre-Register and contact the Registration Director. before September 17.

When contacting the Registration Director about late arrivals, you must include your Registration ID, Full Name, and Birthdate. Please use the subject "FurFright Late Arrival Request" in your e-mail.

Failure to properly follow these instructions may result in your request not being seen.
